Welcome to the Cosmic Props workshop log! I’ve been making things, building props, and figuring out how to turn ideas into physical objects for a long time, and one of my favorite parts of the process has always been figuring out how to make something work. Sometimes that means a successful first print. More often, it means a failed print, a few changes, and trying again until I get something I’m happy with. Between the 3D printers, laser cutters, and vacuum former here in New York, there’s usually something in progress, and I wanted a place to share that side of the work instead of only showing the finished products.

I’ll be posting announcements when new items hit the shop, updates on prototypes as they go from an idea to something I’m happy with, and the occasional look at the things that didn’t work out and what I learned from them. Some posts will be quick updates, while others might get into the technical details. Either way, I want to give you a look at how these props come together, what I’m working on, and what you can expect to see in the shop next.
